VA Pension Benefits

Many Veterans are unaware of the VA Improved Pension, designed to provide financial support for long-term care to our country's Veterans and their spouses. The benefit provides assistance to cover the cost of qualified, unreimbursed medical expenses, including in-home care and assisted living expenses. We assist Veterans and their spouses in qualifying for this important benefit. Call us to see if you may qualify.

Basic requirements to obtain this benefit: 

  • Served at least 1 day during a qualified war period

  • At least 90 days of active duty

  • Received better than a dishonorable discharge

  • Over the age of 65 or permanently disabled

  • Needs assistance with daily living requirements

  • Monthly medical expenses equal or exceed monthly income

The Spouse of a qualified Veteran may also qualify if he or she did not remarry.
